This year the Sonora Chamber has created a Winter Wonderland at Coffill Park. You’ll find twinkle fairy lights, decorated light poles, hanging snowflakes and “Elfie Stations”.
You’ll have plenty of opportunity to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus this year. They will be at Santa’s Village in Courthouse Park every day beginning December 3rd through December 24th. You’ll find an adorable, vintage “North Pole Mailbox” next to Santa’s House for children to mail their letters to Santa. Tune into one of Clarke Broadcasting ‘s three radio stations and maybe you’ll be able to hear Santa read your letter over the air!
This free event will no doub become a wonderful tradition. The IOOF Lodge Sonora #10 have generously opened their lodge located a 10 W. Dodge St. as a cozy storytelling nook and for gingerbread house making.
Children of all ages are welcome to join Santa and Mrs. Claus to make and decorate Gingerbread houses with graham crackers, candy and Icing.
Our beloved storyteller BZ Smith will be sharing Christmas Stories with musical accompaniment by Peg Reza and the Blue Shoes Ukulele Orchestra.
