Regular Board Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the Chamber offices. The public is welcome to attend the board meeting; however, individuals are kindly requested to contact the Board President in advance to schedule attendance.

Lighting Ceremony of the Red Church and Downtown Sonora

🎄 Join us for the 41st Annual Historic Downtown Sonora Christmas Parade! 🎄

Kick off the holiday season in true Sonora style at our beloved Christmas Parade! Join the community for an evening of lights, music, and festive fun as the streets of historic downtown Sonora come alive with holiday spirit.

Bring family and friends to see colorful floats, talented marching bands, and perhaps even a special appearance by Santa Claus himself! Bundle up, grab some hot cocoa, and enjoy all the magic of this treasured community tradition.

Don’t miss out on the joy and warmth that makes Sonora’s Christmas Parade so special. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Christmas Parade Transportation:

Buses start at 3:00pm in the Junction Parking lot at our TJ Maxx Bus Stop.

The drive from there to the intersection of Lyons St @ Stewart St is about 15-20 minutes and it will loop until the parade is over. Each stop should have pick-up every 15-20 minutes.

Trick or Treat Street & Spookytown

Get ready for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun! Join us for Trick or Treat Street in Hallow-storic Downtown Sonora, where participating businesses will be handing out candy to all the little ghosts and goblins.
Be sure to also head over to Spookytown at Courthouse Park! Kids can enjoy a world of fun, with:
