The 41st Annual Historic Downtown Sonora Christmas Parade

will be held on

Friday, November 29, 2024

Parade starts promptly at 6:00 pm rain or shine.

NOTE: Please read through this application as changes have been made for the 2024 Parade.

PARADE LINE UP: The staging area is located on School Street between Snell & Washington Streets. No through traffic is allowed on School Street after 2:00 pm. Only vehicles in the parade will be allowed on School Street/staging area location after 3:00 pm.

• All Entries must be in your assigned location by 4:30 pm.
• Entries must enter from the corner of School Street/N. Washington Streets unless otherwise instructed. Please note Snell Street will be closed starting at 3:00 pm, from N. Green to Bonanza Road so you will not be able to access the staging area from Snell Street.
• NO changes to entries can be made after application is submitted.
• PARADE FEE:  $25 per entry, includes 1 vehicle (car or truck/trailer) & walkers.
  Multiple additional vehicles – $15 each

This Annual Historic Downtown Sonora Christmas Parade is a tradition that has been a community event for 40 years. This night-time parade gives you the opportunity to SHINE, so decorate festively, and let’s get everyone who attends the parade in the holiday spirit!!
