NOTE: Please read through this application as a few improvements have been made for the 2026 Parade.

PARADE LINE UP: The staging area is located on School Street between Snell & Washington Streets. No through traffic is allowed on School Street after 2:00 pm. Only vehicles in the parade will be allowed on School Street/staging area location after 3:00 pm.

  • All Entries must be in your assigned location by 4:30 pm.
  • Entries must enter from the corner of School Street/N. Washington Streets unless otherwise instructed. Please note Snell Street will be closed starting at 3:00 pm, from N. Green to Bonanza Road so you will not be able to access the staging area from Snell Street.
  • NO changes to entries can be made after application is submitted.
  • PARADE FEE:  $25 per entry, includes a limit of 10 vehicles (car or truck/trailer) & walkers.

This Annual Historic Downtown Sonora Christmas Parade is a community tradition for 43 years. This nighttime parade gives you the opportunity to SHINE, so decorate festively, and let’s get everyone who attends the parade in the holiday spirit!!

All Vehicles must be fully decorated in a festive Holiday theme. $25 entry fee:  Each entry fee includes TEN vehicles.  Vehicles include: car, minivans, motorcycle, pickup trucks, truck/trailer, semi-trucks, fire trucks
